How Soon Might I Begin to Notice Pain Relief With Cymbalta?

Studies have shown that Cymbalta can significantly lessen diabetic nerve pain. Some patients noticed an improvement in their pain in as early 1 week. On average, patients taking Cymbalta compared to those taking placebo continued to feel improvement for the duration of the studies. As with all medicines, treatment results can be different from one person to the next. The most common side effects reported by patients in diabetic nerve pain trials were nausea, somnolence, constipation, increased sweating, dry mouth, decreased appetite, dizziness, and weakness.
