The pain of fibromyalgia is real.
For those living with fibromyalgia pain, each day can be a challenge. You may not be able to do your favorite activities. Some days it can feel like fibromyalgia pain overwhelms you. The pain can be unpredictable and can change in location and intensity from day to day.
Fibromyalgia is a real disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. Wouldn't you like to live with less fibromyalgia pain? Maybe then you could get back to more of the things you want to do.
When you have fibromyalgia, you live with chronic widespread pain and tenderness. Cymbalta can help.
Do not take Cymbalta if you are now taking or have recently taken a kind of medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (also known as an MAOI), including the antibiotic linezolid, or if you are taking Mellaril® (also called thioridazine). Taking Cymbalta close in time to these medicines can cause serious or even life-threatening side effects. If you have uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma (eye pain due to increased eye pressure), do not take Cymbalta.
Cymbalta is a prescription medication approved for the management of fibromyalgia.
